Chamber plays its part in the wider musical community. For many years, places have been provided to local students to enable them to gain experience at a different level. Many of Guernsey's professional musicians have passed through Chamber as students and now have careers as soloists, BBC executives and members of professional orchestras.

Chamber has been grateful for sponsorship in the past from Barclays, the Channel Islands Stock Exchange, Deutsche Bank and the Guernsey Arts Council. As all classical ensembles across the world, Chamber would be delighted to work with one or more sponsors in the future. Chamber is organised as a charitable trust in Guernsey and has also supported a number of charities through its concerts.
